John Freymann

 

John Freyman is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt under eight-time world champion Robson Moura, part of his master Robson’s Moura Nations United Association, with more than 50 affiliates around the world.  His martial arts training began more than 20 years ago when he started Jeet Kune Do (JKD) in Chicago. JKD was the late martial arts actor Bruce Lee’s concept of combining different martial arts and taking the most effective moves from each of those arts to achieve a more efficient victory by eliminating styles and forms. Lee is regarded as the godfather of mixed martial arts. He trained in this art under some of the best instructors in the world. One primary teacher was Paul Vunak, who taught one of the first SEAL teams. He also has trained under professional boxers, Thai boxers ,collegiate wrestlers, Israeli commandos and is an instructor under ICCS Krav Maga. His background of growing up on the west side of Chicago gives him an insight into realistic training to combat violence. He brings his knowledge of the arts to the average person and works to help build good moral values in children. His training partners are world champions, and as a competitor himself he brings not only the physical aspect but the mental preparation needed to achieve greatness. He has two children: a son that is a deputy sheriff with Manatee County and a daughter that is a studying nursing at the University of South Florida. He also trains corrections, law enforcement, ,Army rangers ,and Special Operations personal.
